RV rentals in South Bend, Indiana are a big deal. I think the reason why is that there is so much to see and do. I am both a resident of the South Bend area, and a huge fan of Cruise America, so I feel qualified to write about RV Rentals in South Bend, Indiana. As a matter of fact, there is a Cruise America rental center right here in South Bend.
If I were an RVer visiting the South Bend area in a rented motorhome, here are a few things I would do:
I’d definitely visit the East Race Waterway in downtown South Bend. It’s 1,900 feet of man-made white water rafting fun. They have competitions there that you can watch as well. There is a fish ladder where you can seasonally see the Chinook salmon and steelhead trout. You can also fish for these two kinds of fish in a nearby fishing area. They have playgrounds, picnic areas and many more activities for the whole family. There are more than five miles of lighted walking paths along the St. Joseph River. This is a must see and do for families visiting in their South Bend, Indiana RV rentals.
Another must see for RV travelers in the Potawatomi Park area is the Potawatomi Zoo. It is a very old zoo, which was founded in 1902. This zoo is the home to over 400 different animals. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, which identifies it as an institution meeting all the requirements and standards for animal welfare and management.
These are just a couple ideas. If you did nothing but travel to some of the outlying areas in your motorhome rental and took in the beautiful countryside, you couldn’t go wrong, and this is why there are so many RV rentals in South Bend, Indiana!
