1. Frequent oil and air filter changes
2. Thoroughly flush and drain the cooling system at least every 2 years
3. Clean the battery regularly
4. Check the radiator, radiator hoses and water pump for leaks and loose connections
5. Check the fluid level in automatic transmissions regularly
6. Check shock condition more frequently than you would on a car
7. Check for bent tie rods and links
8. Check tires and wheels prior to every trip
9. Check all exterior wiring before every trip
