An RV rental in Chicago is easy to find, as Cruise America has three locations in the immediate area. Along with our rental centers, there are several campgrounds near Chicago that offer up all the amenities RVers have come to appreciate.
Fish Lake Beach Camping Resort, for instance, is a wonderful place to relax while spending the day fishing. You may prefer to experience the nearby Six Flags Great America theme park in Gurnee, or maybe a day of sightseeing in the city, followed by a refreshing dip in the resort’s pool. You may choose to spend a night, a week, a month or even a season there in your Cruise America class C motorhome. However long you are there, it won’t be long enough!
Chicago is full of unique and intriguing attractions that one will not find elsewhere. For instance, it would be a shame to leave the city without visiting the Ledge in the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower). It is an extended glass room that juts out of the 103rd floor, giving visitors a floorless view like they’ve never before experienced. There are sightseeing cruises down the Chicago River that cut through the heart of downtown, along with explanations of the different buildings and some of their history. It is another unique wide encompassing vantage point.
Chicago is home to many sports franchises, such as the Cubs, the Bears, the Bulls, the Blackhawks or the White Sox, so it is not difficult to find and attend a game that is scheduled. There is always something being played!
Lincoln Park is the largest park in Chicago, and offers one of the nation’s only free zoos. This park also offers many other recreational opportunities, including the botanical conservatory, a golf course, museums and even miles of sandy beaches to explore.
When your activities have ended for the day, it is an enjoyable, peaceful experience to get back to the comfort of your Cruise America Chicago Rental RV, and enjoy the tranquility of the country.
