Propane is Great, but it Demands Respect

Liquid petroleum gas (LPG), also known as propane gas, is touted as one of the safest, cleanest-burning fossil fuels there is. There are over 65 million homes in the United States that use it to power their stoves, water heaters and other appliances, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of RVs roaming the country. When burned properly, the byproduct of natural gas is mostly vapor and carbon dioxide. It produces considerably fewer greenhouse emissions than wood, coal and oil.

Being Safe is Paramount to Having Fun

There are so many enjoyable experiences that can be had in a Cruise America RV. There are, however, a few things that could hamper the good times, if you should completely disregard a few sensible safety tips while traveling.

• If you are a smoker, make sure to refrain from lighting up inside the motorhome. Not only is smoking not allowed inside the RVs, it is an unsafe practice.
