I went to a San Diego RV dealer, who tried endlessly to sell me a recreational vehicle that I could never afford. It was one of those huge bus types, which I don’t think I could have handled anyway. It almost offended me that he kept trying to sell me something that would put me in financial jeopardy. Needless to say, that San Diego RV dealer did not get my business!

Hello, CruiseAmericans! My husband and I are seriously considering purchasing a 23P from the used fleet and wonder how those of you who have one like it? We will be traveling as a couple, no extra people aboard. We welcome your comments/suggestions. Thanks!

Cool to see one of my pictures used on April's Cruising with fido. That fido in the picture is my pups, Kona. She had a blast on the trip. We will be doing it again soon. Thanks Cruise America for recognizing one of my pics.

Today is tourists day. We have booked a 3 hour tour. We go first to the replica of Notre Dame. We have 20 minutes to look inside Notre Dame. Nahil and I go inside for $ 5 CAN, Sören remains outside, and thus missed an incredibly beautiful church. Inside, there is no spot that is not decorated. The altar area is overwhelming, I do not know where I should start to take pictures. There is much gold in the decorations, left and right are each 3 large figures placed in the middle is… Continue

Shortly before 6 clock in the morning, I hardly slept, too nervous. I get up elated and haste to the bathroom, to quickly do my the morning wash, and pack the last things up. The journey begins.
We print out our boarding passes at the Self Service counters and receive the ones for the flight from Munich to Amsterdam. Great, thats ok, but what is up with the tickets from Amsterdam to Toronto. We go to the counter, check in the luggage and ask for help for the boarding passes… Continue

Well, it's been a while since we last blogged, and we've done massive amounts of research, and finally felt comfortable enough to go ahead and book our RV vacation.
We were married on October 17th this year and asked all our guests to contribute to a Trailfinders gift card, and thanks to the generosity of all our friends and family we have managed to book a Honeymoon to remember, 21 glorious days in California, 16 days in an RV, 2 rental cars, Universal Studios, Disneyland and even a… Continue

I was driving something the width of our home back in England, in six- lane traffic, on the “wrong” side of the ring road round Phoenix, Arizona, at “floor to capacity” speed, and I was terrified.
When we picked up the Recreational Vehicle from the Cruise America offices in Mesa, I hadn’t dared admit that I didn’t think, honestly, that I was up to the task.
Now I was behind the wheel of this full-scale, fibreglass house-on-wheels, which had the wind resistance of a… Continue

We loved our vacation with our Cruise America motorhome. We started in Colorado Springs and traveled up to Grand Tetons/Yellowstone. It was a grand vacation. On our way home our air conditioner hose busted, but Cruise America made it right. We felt we were in great hands - even in Rawlins, WY. We will never forget this vacation!!

In a few years we would like to buy an RV and travel through USA at leisure. What are the restrictions for a non US citizen? for example -if 90 days stay only permitted can RV be stored with Cruise Amerca? How does Insurance work if no address in US.can the buy back be explained - what % of original price say after 1 year average mileage.
Any help appreciated to try and realise this dream. Thanks

My wife and dog are planning a very extended trip (6 months to a year) out west and in Canada. So far though, I am dissapointed by the over crowded, small lot size rv parks I have found on-line. I am looking for suggestions on your favorite places to stay that are natural, open and beautiful settings. I look forward to your help.
