June of 2013 is our 40th Anniversary. Have always wanted to see Alaska. Don't particulary want to take a cruise so was wondering about flying there then renting an RV and driving back to the States and along the West Coast. Any suggestions? Should we rent in the States and drive to Alaska then fly back instead? What kind of costs are we looking at? Thinking of a 30 day trip. Husband wants to stop and fish!

everything went fine, furnace is great, fridge: make sure your trailer is level or it won't work and it is good on gas if you put it on cruise at 85-90 km/hr
going out again end of the month, PEI,Ontario and Quebec.

Dear Sir or Madam:
My wife and I have been camping for many seasons and have finally decided to upgrade our old motorhome (1977 Dodge Sportsman – Can you believe it?) to a newer one. We have been impressed with Cruise America RV, and have read your website and visited your sales…

Hello to the CruiseAmerica Community. I'm renting a C25 motorhome from CruiseAmerica for two weeks in July. Myself and my two children will pick it up in Phoenix (taking in a baseball game at Chase Field before we leave, if I can get tickets) and plan to travel to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite, possibly Sacramento (been told not to bother with Sacramento!) and then onto San Francisco where we leave from. Any tips for planning the route, average miles per…Continue

Dear Cruise America,
Cruise America Class C RV Sales have fully proven themselves to me. Right after we bought the class C motor home from Cruise America, I became worried because I discovered an issue with a panel on the unit, and a battery that wouldn't hold a…Continue

I looked at all the Tucson RV dealers, but none of them could match up to Cruise America, who won my heart (and my business).
I am part of a paranormal investigation group based in Tucson, Arizona. We travel to various locations around the U.S. that are purported to be haunted, and in the past, when we’d travel, we’d have to rent hotel rooms in each location. Not only was this expensive, but there…Continue

Dear Cruise America,
I recently read on your website that Atlanta RV rentals are rapidly increasing. I thought I should write to your blog to tell you a quick story.
I am, by trade, a comic/ventriloquist, now living and performing in Las Vegas. I used to travel the country doing shows, mostly opening acts for headliner musicians. I didn’t normally take my family along, what with the…Continue

Last summer for the 4th of July, an Atlanta RV rental was the perfect answer to my dilemma. There are a host of things to do in Atlanta for Independence Day, such as the Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain Park, the 4th of July at Centennial Olympic Park or the 4th of July at Lenox Square. I had…Continue

RV rentals in Arizona are a dime a dozen. Quality rental locations, however, are not so numerous. There are many places that provide RV rentals in Arizona, and who rent recreational vehicles to vacationers, but when you are taking precious time off work to spend with your family, you want to make sure you are enjoying every minute of it. To assure that you are getting a good, solid, clean and…Continue

This letter is just for the information of the readers, and contains no earth shattering information, but I wish I had read it before renting my first RV.
Class C RV rentals are the way to go, but I learned the hard way. When I was first looking for an RV to rent, Cruise America was the first company I called. When they told me that they only did class C RV…Continue

Almost one year ago, we embarked upon a trip that would affect us eternally. We picked up our 28' RV at the Cruise America dealer in Mentor, Ohio and took off for a several thousand mile trip to the west coast. Onboard were 7 women (sisters, all over 50, 2 nieces and mother!) This was the first time on an RV for all of us, so it became a learning experience. Mom was 82 and one of our sisters had a stroke nearly 1 year prior to the trip, so we had our hands full…Continue

My wife, my son and I have booked an RV in Denver, CO in late may this year.
My son will be 8 months old by this time, and since our german child seat is not allowed in the US, we most likely have to buy one in the US.
After the trip, we want to
this child seat again.
Are you interested in a child seat (most…Continue

3 weeks ago we purchased a 2006 23A from the Salt Lake City, UT CruiseAmerica RV location. We drove from Bellingham, WA down to SLC to pick up our new home away from home and for now, home while AT home as we rebuild our house after a dryer fire.
Living in 25' of space with two adults and 2 large dogs full time is a bit of a challenge but one of the things I am LOVING about this RV is that while compact so therefore easy to drive and park, there is a large amount of storage space…
