3 weeks ago we purchased a 2006 23A from the Salt Lake City, UT CruiseAmerica RV location. We drove from Bellingham, WA down to SLC to pick up our new home away from home and for now, home while AT home as we rebuild our house after a dryer fire.
Living in 25' of space with two adults and 2 large dogs full time is a bit of a challenge but one of the things I am LOVING about this RV is that while compact so therefore easy to drive and park, there is a large amount of storage space…

How about an RV rental Southern California? I have lived in SoCal for so long, I swear I’ve seen the coast change shape. And as long as I have been living here, nobody wants me to come see them, they always want to some see me. I live in Oceanside, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and I love it. However, my house is pretty small, and I have a roommate, so I can’t really accommodate…Continue

For our first RV rental, Minneapolis was the destination. We actually rented one of your recreational vehicles in St. Paul, just about nine miles from Minneapolis, and made the short drive to Shakopee, for the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. We stay for the entire weekend. Usually we get a hotel, but we thought we’d try something different this year by renting a motorhome.

The number of Motorhome sales at Cruise America are skyrocketing! It appears that the news of the economical advantages, as well as the comfort of RV travel, is spreading.
In the past, it was always a status symbol to have an RV parked in your driveway. It seemed to speak out and say that you were financially successful. Nowadays, however, the paradigm has shifted. Now to have an RV parked in your driveway makes a statement…Continue

3 weeks ago we had a dryer fire start in the basement of our home. Fortunately I was home at the time and no humans or animals were injured as I was able to get everyone out and call the fire department before the fire became fully engaged inside the house. After the fire was out a tour of the house showed where there is fire there is SMOKE and a LOT of it.
A week of touring with the insurance adjuster, cleaning people and contractors it became clear that we were not going to be…

I just learned the benefits of the class C RV through experience. My name is Raymond and I make commercials for local businesses. Recently we shot some footage about vacationing and the shots required a couple of motorhomes. We arranged two rv rentals from Cruise America and admittedly, I was a bit hesitant to drive one all over northern Arizona because I had never so much as set foot into an RV, let alone driven…Continue

I live in Salt Lake City and I have been wanting an RV for a long time. For years I saved, knowing I’d need about $80,000.00 to buy the Four Winds model class C I wanted. When I had finally saved up half the amount I needed ($40,000.00) I decided that I had saved up enough to justify starting to look for a reputable Utah RV dealer. I could…Continue

A friend of mine from back east recently asked me east if there were a lot of used motorhomes in Arizona?
There may not be a lot of extra water in Arizona, as it not as abundant here as it is in other states. There isn’t a great deal of ski resorts in Arizona, as not the whole state sees snowstorms in the winter. Also, you will not find many beaches here in the Grand Canyon state (save the…Continue

RV sales have skyrocketed as of late. Experts speculate that the reason is because of the troubled economy. Families are discovering how much more economical it is to take trips in an RV rather than the conventional family vacation via airplane, hotel, restaurants, etc., thus boosting the RV sales statistics here in the United States and…Continue

An RV rental was the furthest thing from my mind when I decided to take a road trip from Phoenix to Durango, Colorado for the Music in the Mountains Festival. I was going to drive, but my transmission went out two days before I was supposed to leave. I was going to rent a car, but then I learned that there was not one hotel room available in the area. That really sucked! And no way could I afford plane tickets.

RV rentals in South Bend, Indiana are a big deal. I think the reason why is that there is so much to see and do. I am both a resident of the South Bend area, and a huge fan of Cruise America, so I feel qualified to write about RV Rentals in South Bend, Indiana. I thought you might be interested to know that I am making a video and placing it on YouTube. It will be called How to Rent an RV. I have made other instructional videos before; it’s kind of a hobby of mine. This past fall my buddy and I, along with our dates, took a trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. We had such a good time, and the RV was exactly what we needed to travel in style. We divided up the cost…Continue

Thank you for saving my family vacation! If it were not for you, we would have had a miserable Christmas break. For three years my family has been planning our family vacation to Disneyland. We meticulously figured out just how much it would cost our family of six to go to the park and stay in one of the hotels on property. But as the trip grew closer, the pocket book grew tighter. We weren't expecting the economic downturn. So I started looking at other options. I saw how reasonable it…Continue

Dear Cruise America,
I will start out by saying that I am finally a believer in “you get what you pay for.” I first checked the Cruise America rates out of Denver for a trip at the beginning of the summer. But we rented an RV locally. I found a local place that said they would beat your rate so I ended up renting an RV from them. Lets just say we hand an interesting adventure with that RV and that company. We took a trip this fall for 5 days. We rented an RV from you out of Denver […Continue
