I thought you might be interested to know that I am making a video and placing it on YouTube. It will be called How to Rent an RV. I have made other instructional videos before; it’s kind of a hobby of mine. This past fall my buddy and I, along with our dates, took a trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. We had such a good time, and the RV was exactly what we needed to travel in style. We divided up the cost…Continue

Thank you for saving my family vacation! If it were not for you, we would have had a miserable Christmas break. For three years my family has been planning our family vacation to Disneyland. We meticulously figured out just how much it would cost our family of six to go to the park and stay in one of the hotels on property. But as the trip grew closer, the pocket book grew tighter. We weren't expecting the economic downturn. So I started looking at other options. I saw how reasonable it…Continue

Dear Cruise America,
I will start out by saying that I am finally a believer in “you get what you pay for.” I first checked the Cruise America rates out of Denver for a trip at the beginning of the summer. But we rented an RV locally. I found a local place that said they would beat your rate so I ended up renting an RV from them. Lets just say we hand an interesting adventure with that RV and that company. We took a trip this fall for 5 days. We rented an RV from you out of Denver […Continue

I just want to say that I really loved our RV rental. I didn't know you could do recreational vehicle rentals until my friend rented one from you. He brought it by the house and showed it off, and I was impressed. With that, were convinced and for our next family vacation this August, I rented an RV from your [Trenton, New Jersey RV Rental] location. Picking up the RV…Continue

Dear Cruise America,
I have wanted to write and tell you this for six months now, but I didn’t know if it would mean anything to anyone, so I never got around to it. Now that I am seeing everyone else’s two cents worth on this blog, I figured that I should do it.
My husband and I were at odds last year, as we tried to come to an agreement about the purchase of an RV. He wanted one of those huge…Continue

There are motorhomes for sale everywhere I look. I live in Apache Junction, Arizona and in this town you can’t find an intersection anywhere that doesn’t have a motorhome parked nearby with a “FOR SALE” sign in the window. I first thought that it was because people didn’t like their RVs, or that they couldn’t afford them. I later learned that it was not because they…Continue

I am traveling with my Dad, who just turned 75 years old on October 12. This is our first time in an RV, so we decided to rent from Cruise America and try it out. We are quickly learning the efficiencies and necessities of the RV life and are enjoying the freedom and flexibility it affords. We have a very loose travel itinerary with some specific things to do and see on our bucket lists: fall foliage and backroad scenery, historic sites and Americana, fall festivals, local produce and…Continue

Looking for any feedback on suggested stops and stays from San Diego to San Francisco to Yosemite.
Also wondering about arrangements for infant car seats in RV.
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing your company to let you know that I have spent a whole lot of time at RV dealers over the last year, looking for an RV to purchase. I have rented RVs from your company many times in the past, and I didn't know you sold your used RVs as well. I figured that they would be pretty abused and torn up after having so many people…Continue

Dear Cruise America,
I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for your help, and the professional manner in which your team members in Mesa, Az. conducted themselves. My husband and I have been monitoring the motor home sales in the area, and we realized just how expensive it was to purchase a brand new one. We spoke to one dealer who told us (on the down-low) that if it were him buying one, he would buy a used motor…Continue
