Hello. In order to make our infant car seat work, we had to put the kitchenette table down (in the sleeping position), put the car seat on top of it and then use the seat belt to secure it. The infant seat was too large to fit in the seat with the table up. At night, we put the kitchenette down again and we brought our Pack-n-play portable crib and put it on top of the kitchenette so we didn't have to worry about her rolling out. We also brought a crib rail so my 5 yr old could sleep on the bed above the driver and not worry about her falling out. It was great. Hope that helps. Also, the steps that lead to the inside of the camper are on the inside of the camper, not the outside, so a small child can fall on the steps when inside. We just used our cooler filled with ice to block the steps but it was in the way. We didn't know what else to do about it.
